LOHAN + RONSON MOVING TO DUBAI?

Actress Lindsay Lohan and her lesbian DJ partner Samantha Ronson have been house hunting in the glitzy United Arab Emirates paradise of Dubai in a bid to beat the cameras.
The pair reportedly fell in love with glamorous Palm Island resort after Ronson performed at the nearby luxurious Atlantis Hotel last year (08), according to British tabloid the Daily Mirror.
And the Mean Girls star is eager to capitalise on a lack of paparazzi in the Middle-Eastern state by snapping up a lavish $2.18 million (GBP1.5 million) pad.
A source tells the publication, "Lindsay and Sam loved the tacky glitziness of Dubai. There is so much money and opulence out there it really impressed Lindsay - she can be quite materialistic like that. Despite her fair skin, Lindsay loves the beach and sunshine.
"And with the property market over there probably the only place where there still seems to be a boom, she thinks it will be a wise investment.
"There isn't as much paparazzi either - although that's sure to change once Lindsay and Sam become regulars on the scene."
However, the pair will need to keep their romance quiet if they do move to Dubai as homosexuality is still illegal in the country.

Lindsay and Samantha Bring in the New Year with a Fight

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha have another public fight; this time in an airport.
Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have gotten into another huge public spat, reported the Los Angeles Times. This fight took place in the American Airlines Admirals Club on a flight from Miami to L.A. According to TMZ, once she was in the plane, Lindsay completely fell apart.
“Lindsay was so inconsolable the flight attendants asked if she’d like to disembark,” one witness reported.
This is the second massive battle between Lohan and Ronson. Right before Christmas, the couple woke their neighbors at 4 a.m. by screaming at each other and breaking glass. Later that day, Ronson went to the hospital for “exhaustion.”
The couple seemed to have made up since then, being spotted shopping and laughing together. On New Year’s Eve, the couple seemed happy and content. Lindsay was seen relaxing on the beach with some friends, minus Samantha. Later that night, however, they both rung in the new year at the South Beach club, Mansion, where Ronson deejayed and Lohan hosted.

LOHAN'S DAD CALLS 'TRUCE'

Lindsay Lohan's dad Michael has called for a "truce" after weeks of warring with his famous daughter and her girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
The star's father reacted angrily to a MySpace blog posted by Lohan last week (begs22Dec08) which detailed her shock at finding out he had allegedly fathered a lovechild during his marriage to her mother.
The allegations prompted a bitter war of words with his daughter and Ronson, who he's blamed for negatively influencing Lindsay - even alleging he was "99 per cent" certain she ghost-wrote the scathing entry.
In a post on his website on Monday (29Dec08), Michael writes, "There is a truce between Lindsay and I, so please stop adding any fuel to the fire. I respectfully ask that all sources, so called friends and mouthpieces refrain from any more comments or suggestions on her blog."
